Is Marty Mush About To Wally Pipp Me On CCK?

Monster week of content from the CCK Camp in the latest installment of the vlog. All week long we had a constant parade of big time guests coming through. Ranging from Dane Cook to Ken Jeong, I must have recorded about 15 podcast interviews and Answer The Internet’s. Unfortunately, it turns out, a ton of these celebrities really like to come through from 1pm to 3pm. So with Jared in Arizona all week for the Spikes Up Tour (which is genuinely the best baseball content on the internet right now) and me constantly popping out of the show to interview, Kayce was left alone to hold down the fort.

Now theres a slew of people to choose from when these circumstances pop up. Lots of very funny, very capable people who can fill in during our radio show. But Duke happened to be playing UNC one night last week, and so who better to take that role than Mush? His bird had just unexpectedly flown into the wall the night prior, so who better to jump on air and explain the whole story? Nobody, thats who. Nobody is better than the Mush. What was supposed to be just endless talk about bad beats and Gambling “Moves” turned into 3 or 4 therapy sessions. We learned about the smokes hes banging, the “house he bought,” he posed all the questions hes got rattling around in that empty skull of his, and much much more. Every episode I was concerned about leaving Kayce out in the cold and every day Mush slid right in and kept her warm. Every time after getting off (the air), Kayce couldnt stop raving about Mush. Neither could the fans.  The phone lines were sizzling, Twitter was overflowing. I think I may have just groomed my own replacement. As Marty says, the Mush hits in different ways.
